How does the order process work?
It’s a very simple process. You send me your photo with a deposit, to secure your spot. I send you a preliminary sketch, you approve it and I will then begin working on your portrait. When the painting is finished I will send you a photo of it. You make the final payment and then it’s ready to be picked up or delivered, if you wish.
Can you paint my cat, horse, bird?
From hounds to horses, I love all animals and would be honoured to paint your pet!
Do you have to meet my dog?
No, it’s not necessary that I meet with each pet. Working from photos it makes it possible for me to paint… you may live in another region or country, your pet is no longer with you or perhaps this painting is a gift to a loved one.
How do I know if I will like my painting?
If you like the photo you send me, and you have seen my gallery of paintings you will love the portrait. You will also be able to view the progress of the painting online. At this time, if there is something that you don’t like, just let me know and I can make the necessary changes.
What size are your paintings?
Popular sizes range from 16″ x 16″ to 4ft X 6 ft. Murals are also my specialty.

Is the photo I’m sending OK for making a painting?
If you have any questions about your photo, you can email it to me for evaluation.
If you would like me to photograph your pet, I charge a nominal fee of $50.
I want to give a custom painting as a gift but I don’t have the photo?
Not a problem! A gift certificate can be be the answer.
How long will it take?
In general, you can expect to receive a preliminary sketch of your painting within 2 weeks. Then depending on size and complexity, it will take 4 to 8 weeks for your painting to be completed. During rush periods like Christmas, I suggest placing your order 12 weeks prior.
How much does it cost?
The drawings start at $150. Paintings start at $500 for a hand painted custom portrait.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Cash, money order, and major credit card payments through Paypal.
